Loving God, Loving Others
Bringing the light of Jesus Christ, the truth of God’s Word, the hope of saving faith, and the promise of eternity to First Peoples individuals, families, and communities.
Our Purpose
Via Ministries USA exists to INVITE First Peoples children, teenagers, and adults to embrace the Lord’s gift of a new life through and in Jesus Christ, to INCLUDE them in the body of believers, to INSTRUCT them so that they may grow and mature in their faith, to INSPIRE them to honor and glorify the Lord in and through their lives, and to INVOLVE them in serving the Lord so that they may discover, develop, and use their spiritual gifts.
About Tom & Susan Talbot
Tom (President) & Susan Talbot (Secretary) are Directors of Via Ministries USA. They have been called by the Lord to minister to and with the Apache people on the San Carlos Reservation in Arizona.
Prior to arriving in Arizona in July 2020, the Talbots spent 30 years leading teams of teenagers and adults from their churches in Pennsylvania and Texas in a variety of ministry activities for children, teenagers, and adults. These teams served on the Pine Ridge Reservation (Lakota), Fort Berthold Reservation (Arikara), Zuni Reservation (Zuni), and San Carlos Reservation (Apache).
Both Tom & Susan grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Tom graduated from the University of Virginia in 1977 with a degree in Architectural History and Historic Preservation, while Susan graduated from Temple University in 1979 with a degree in Journalism. Each spent several years in the business world before answering the Lord’s call to serve Him fulltime in Youth & Young Adult Ministry.
Tom has also been involved in high school track & field coaching (throwing events) for 40 years in Pennsylvania and Texas.
